About the project
Honey Atkinson specialises in capturing authentic visuals inspired by golden light and nature for creatives, makers and farmers. She also teaches phone photography through her online course and in-person, often sold-out workshops.
Honey opted for our Elle one-week website base design, which was created specifically for photographers and we worked our magic to make it truly unique to her business.
Rotating galleries and full-width video banners were added to visually showcase Honey’s work, giving visitors an immersive experience and a deeper appreciation for Honey’s distinctive creative style and the businesses she most loves to work with.
Our favourite additions to this site are the sprinkling of brand icons and illustrations throughout for an extra layer of uniqueness and brand recognition.
As a phase two, we created a custom videography services page incorporating a scrolling portfolio section where visitors can click on past projects to get a feel for what’s achievable and starting prices to help them choose the best videography package for their stage of business.
We migrated Honey’s phone photography course from Thinkific across to Squarespace Online Courses and integrated the course with Flodesk – saving Honey on expensive Thinkific fees, while creating a more streamline and cohesive experience for her students.
We also assisted Honey with setup of her Acuity scheduling system to automatically and seamlessly take bookings and payments for her in-person phone photography workshops, relieving her of this administrative overhead.
