One-week website process and template bundle FAQs
Got questions about our one-week website process for web designers? Let us help you.
Inclusions
-
Sure does! The project schedule document gives you an insider’s look into the entire process – what steps I take, why I do these steps and the timeline for each step – from initial sales enquiry, through to website handover and follow up. Plus you get the supporting email scripts and document templates needed to complete each step. I know there’s a lot to consider when adding one-week websites to your offerings, which is why I’ve done as much of the work for you as I can, to guide you through all stages of the client journey and build process.
-
This process teaches you how to deliver a one-week website, guiding you through all stages of the client journey – selling, building, reviewing and handing over a one week website to a client with ease. So while it doesn’t teach you how to create a template or base design, it will highlight exactly what pages and elements to add to your template so that you can create one that complements the one-week website model. To learn how to create a template, I highly recommend Standout Squarespace (that’s an affiliate link btw!). Students have combined Rache’s course with my delivery system, giving them the tools to both build a template and then deliver that template — literally giving you everything you need to start offering one-week websites to your clients.
-
The one-week website process is specifically focused on delivering one-week websites. However, some of my past students who were curious about my brand kits, booked a 45 minute chat with me after enrolling and we discussed the brand kits during this call.
-
You sure can! When you purchase the process and template bundle, you are also purchasing a license to use the words inside these templates for your business. The wording inside the templates is the exact wording I use inside my business and has been crafted and refined over three years from my own experience of creating 70+ one-week websites. This is a tried and tested process that works. You don’t have to write your own content or second-guess your process. You can simply just follow the templates, plug in your business and client details and you’re good to go. However, please note that the process and wording inside these templates can only be used for your client projects and process. The information cannot be shared, sold or repurposed for use on your website as either sales page copy or as a free resource (like blog articles or on social media) or paid resource (like courses or coaching).
-
All the images used in the templates are free images sourced from either Unsplash or Pexels. You are most welcome to continue to use these images, although I recommend you swap these out for your own branded imagery.
How it works
-
These templates are not platform specific. They focus purely on the business process of delivering a one-week website and support you in clearly communicating with your clients. Some sections do mention Squarespace (because I’m a Squarespace designer), but you can easily swap this out for your preferred platform. Whether you offer one-week websites on Squarespace, Wordpress, Wix or something else, these templates will very much still work for you.
-
The calendar proposal, welcome guide and handover templates are in Adobe XD format, which is incredibly easy and intuitive to use (think drag and drop functionality all the way!). You’ll also receive instructional videos on how to edit the template to bring it into alignment with your brand. The email scripts and website starter kit are in Word format so you can easily copy and paste the emails and adjust the kits for your own clients.
-
Yes absolutely. The fonts used in the templates are Adobe fonts so you will need an Adobe subscription if you wish to use these. Alternatively, you can easily swap the fonts to bring them into alignment with your branding. The colours can also be easily changed to bring them into alignment with your brand too. And you’ll receive instructional videos on exactly how to do this – it’s very easy and fast.
-
Even if you don’t have a base design created yet, I would still recommend signing up to the process now because it can actually help you create your first base design. It will highlight exactly what pages and elements to add to your base design, so you can create one that complements the One-Week Website Model.
-
After you’ve enrolled, you’ll be given access to the learning library. Inside the library will be options to book a call with me if you need extra support or have questions.

I love to see you using the templates to guide your website process and support and add value to your clients. You are free to use these templates and the copy provided in these templates for your own business.
However, when purchasing the templates you agree to only use the process and wording inside for your client projects and process. The information cannot be shared, sold or repurposed for use on your website as either sales page copy or as a free resource (like blog articles or on social media) or paid resource (like courses or coaching). Marketing and selling one-week websites
-
I don’t find marketing for one-week websites to be any different than marketing for custom design work (I used to also offer custom projects as well as one-week websites). So, to the point of needing a large email list for this offering, that’s definitely not needed. In fact, my own mailing list is very small. Most of my work comes from Google searches due to the sales pages for my one-week websites having strong search keywords for the industries I'm targeting and a big chunk from referrals due to my clients loving the whole process and outcome we got for their website. I also find that marketing for one-week websites can, in many ways, be easier than custom projects because clients can actually ’see’ the design they are wanting to buy before they invest and that can create a lot of calm and safety for them.
-
You can absolutely use this process for your custom projects. While it has wording in it that is related to the one-week website model, you could very easily tweak the document templates and emails and start using them for your custom projects, saving you lots of time, energy, stress and money! In fact, the process and templates will help you streamline and deliver any kind of design project with ease – whether that be a custom project, one-week project or otherwise. This gives you double bang for your buck!
-
The great news about having your own design business is that you can do and offer whatever you like! You definitely don’t need to change your business model in anyway. You could simply add the one-week website model as an additional offering. In fact, this is a great way to offer a medium price point for those clients who perhaps cannot afford or do not want to invest in a full custom project – so it actually opens you up to another market. I used to offer both custom and one-week website projects. But over a couple of years, I transitioned to a full one-week website model purely because I was enjoying it so much more than my custom projects. But I know other designers who offer both custom and one-week services.
